La Criée Clermont Ferrand

We had a very good meal and received a very warm welcome and excellent service. The dining room is pleasant and bright, with plenty of space between the tables. Very good value for money and a good selection on the menu. We'll be back!

First and last time I'll eat here. The grilled sardines and tuna steak were overcooked, and the tartares were difficult to eat. The pieces were too large, and there was no harmony in the combinations. As for the service, although friendly, we had to ask three times for a knife and our bottle of wine, only to end up with a warm Riesling.

This is our fourth visit to this restaurant, and it's always very good and very fresh. The only downside is that the desserts aren't homemade, but otherwise it's perfect, as is the pleasant, efficient, and friendly service.

The restaurant is not easy to find due to the large mess hall taking up a lot of space. From the parking lot, the restaurant doesn't look very inviting, but inside everything is perfect. The waitress was very friendly and witty. The food is good and the prices are reasonable.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a very kind, smiling, and particularly attentive gentleman. I don't know if he was the manager, but his welcome immediately set the tone for the evening. A huge thank you also to Fatou, who was remarkably kind. Seeing that I was having some difficulty deconstructing my dish, she spontaneously took the initiative to ask for it to be prepared further in the kitchen. Thanks to her, I was able to fully enjoy my meal. This simple gesture demonstrates a true sense of service and genuine concern for the customers. As for the meal, it was simply delicious. The lobster was excellent, perfectly prepared, and incredibly fresh. We thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. Today, it's rare to find a place where you feel so welcome and so well served. Thanks to the professionalism and kindness of the entire team, and especially Fatou, this meal will remain a wonderful memory shared with my grandmother.
