LE JARDIN DE XU

I ordered takeout and received a very warm welcome, but I was very disappointed with my order. The fried rice was tasteless, and the vegetable fried rice contained no vegetables other than corn kernels. I won't be going back.

A wonderful dinner discovery! A very warm and friendly welcome. The food was excellent, flavorful, and plentiful. I decided to choose dishes I hadn't tried before: Xiao Long Bao dumplings and Ta Zong Ya duck. My friend opted for a more classic choice: shrimp spring rolls and satay beef. We shared Cantonese rice, and for dessert, a coconut milk emulsion with mango and a scoop of coconut ice cream. It was a delight, an explosion of flavors I'm used to from Asia. The duck was amazing! The dessert was delicious. Verdict: a very good restaurant, and I highly recommend it. We thank the chef and our charming hostess. We will return on our next trip to Clermont-Ferrand.

After living with a family that was half Thai and half Singaporean for a long time, I've finally found the same welcoming atmosphere and warmth I knew so well. Truly authentic, homemade cuisine. Very pleasant and friendly people.

A restaurant that doesn't look like much, but offers excellent food and attentive service. The lunch menu is excellent value for money; the pork spring rolls are superb, as are the other dishes we tried (pork in sweet and sour sauce, or chicken with black mushrooms), and the portions are generous. The water is always fresh and replenished with care. Only the coffee is average…but overall, I wouldn't hesitate to return!

Quite a pleasant restaurant, good food, Madame Xu is really welcoming and kind, very good service, I recommend it for a pleasant time at the restaurant.

Second dinner at Jardin de Xu, still just as good. ☺️ Today, a Guo Ba Mian with shrimp, scallops, fish, black mushrooms, and rice vermicelli. Hearty and flavorful without being too spicy. The welcome was warm and the service quick.

It was very good, the dishes were excellent. Home-style Chinese cuisine. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. I'll go back! 👍

I always enjoy coming to Le Jardin de Xu. The food is consistently excellent, the owner is incredibly friendly, and they are always very accommodating. It has become one of my favorite lunch spots in Clermont-Ferrand. The duck laquée for two is especially great, and I also really appreciate the pho and the steamed appetizers. Everything feels fresh and carefully prepared, and the experience is always pleasant from start to finish. They also have a great outdoor deck that gets plenty of sun, which makes it perfect for a relaxed lunch when the weather is nice. On top of that, it’s easy to find parking on the street nearby, which is a big plus in the area.

Excellent restaurant that I highly recommend! Everything is homemade, and it shows. We had a wonderful dinner and can't wait to go back.

We had lunch at a very good restaurant today; the dishes were excellent and very generous. If we return to Clermont-Ferrand, we will gladly go back.
