Le Pinocchio

For our holiday in Clermont-Ferrand, our first restaurant was Chez Pinocchio. And honestly, we have nothing to complain about. The staff is very pleasant and polite, and the food is delicious, both in terms of quality and quantity, for a very reasonable price of €55 for two people. I highly recommend this restaurant; we will definitely be back on our next holiday in Clermont. A well-deserved 5 stars for the whole team!

Pizza Pinocchio is one of those places that completely catches you off guard in the best way. From the first bite, the pizza feels like something straight out of a cozy Italian street corner. The crust is perfectly golden with just the right amount of crisp, giving way to a soft, airy inside. The tomato sauce is rich and slightly sweet, tasting fresh and vibrant rather than heavy. The toppings are where it really shines. The melted cheese stretches effortlessly with each slice, blending beautifully with the savory bits of meat and the subtle sharpness of shaved parmesan. Every bite feels balanced and indulgent without being overwhelming. Even the presentation has that rustic charm that makes you want to slow down and actually enjoy the meal. It is the kind of spot where you sit down expecting something simple and end up having a genuinely memorable meal.

Very pleasant service, generous portions, including excellent pizzas, served quickly. Good desserts too. Affordable prices. The only thing missing is a little refresh in terms of decor. I recommend it.

The pasta is edible. Don't eat the pizzas, though.

Avoid at all costs! Prices don't match the menu. Pizza is poor quality. And the quantity is lacking, too. I'll let you admire their famous "authentic" Italian pizza in the photo. Aside from money laundering, I don't see the point of this restaurant. Besides, the pizza listed at €13.50 on the menu is a year old. The waiter tried to charge me €15 under the table without a receipt. Go eat your pizzas somewhere else. I called at 7:31 PM. They told me it would be ready in 10 minutes. I arrived at 7:42 PM and the pizza wasn't even prepared. A complete rip-off. In response to your reply: The photo was indeed taken at Baraka Jeux, located behind your street. I picked up my pizza at the time you indicated. Do you want us to request the CCTV footage from your home and the Baraka Jeux to prove that your takeaway pizzas are a disaster?

This Italian restaurant reminded me of another Italian restaurant in Nice, on Rue Grassi, I think. Welcoming, simple, almost like a family-run place. We had beef carpaccio for two as a starter, and then the pizzas were to die for. They had character, personality, thanks to the dough and the tomato sauce. Mine was an Aldo Maccione (classy, ​​right?). Very reasonable prices.

Good quality welcome and meal

Luckily the pizzas are good because the service is terrible... I ordered two pizzas to take away, and when I placed the order, the person couldn't even tell me the names of the pizzas. When I arrived to pick up my pizzas, they just handed me the card reader; no hello, no goodbye. I strongly advise against going there, especially since the pizza toppings aren't very thick...
