July 30, 2026 Every time we travel from Germany to Cournon-d'Auvergne, we always stop by the "Arthur" bakery. All of you who shop here regularly are very lucky to have such a master bakery nearby. Because every cake, every pastry, every tart is a little work of art and a delight to behold. That's why we're going to order our little daughter's birthday cake from Arthur tomorrow. She'll be wide-eyed with wonder and then enjoy it with us. As a German, I'm very happy that they also have such delicious rye bread here. Rye bread is hearty and healthy. It's a staple food in my homeland. Yesterday, as soon as we arrived in France, we stopped by Arthur's. The selection of other tasty breads and baguettes is also huge, so you can always put something different on your plate. That's why we're ordering our birthday cake for our little daughter from Arthur tomorrow. Believe me: We can hardly find such fine bakeries and pastry shops as "Arthur" in Germany anymore. They were still around when I was a child, but now everything is mass-produced without any care. The visual appeal is lost, and we can no longer experience that typical bakery aroma in Germany. Because we greatly appreciate the meticulous work of everyone at the "Arthur" bakery, we are happy to award them 5 stars and highly recommend this shop. The staff were unfriendly, and they showed no care in putting the mini pastries in the bag; it looked like the saleswoman was just filling a bag with potatoes! The only positive point was the quality, which was decent!
