Cafétéria Clermont Ferrand

I think the few good reviews are from lunchtime customers... because we went in the evening and it was a disaster! Carrefour should sublet to a fast-food chain or a franchisee, but they need to stop this mess. The worst cafeteria in the region.

Appalling hygiene: dead flies in the vinegar bottles, poorly washed plates, expired olives, half-rotten cherry tomatoes, overripe strawberries—it's a disgrace... And as for the service, three-quarters of the people who work here clearly don't want to be there; it goes without saying that the atmosphere reflects this.

The ribeye steak was very good, and the pizza too. However, if you're in a hurry or want to eat at the same time as the other people at your table, don't order a pizza!

Passing through, the truffade was dry (without cream), and the panna cotta was hard and tasteless – needs improvement.

Cafeteria with friendly staff. I had the lunch special: sea bream plus a chocolate éclair for €9.90 – very good value. I also ordered a couscous to go, which was excellent. I recommend it.

My son and I had hot chocolate at 10 am, but it was undrinkable; it was watered down, with more water than chocolate. We could have complained, but we were so disgusted that we left. We have no intention of going back.

The crepes were disappointing; the lumps were clearly visible on the batter, a ton of Nutella was smothered without any care or application, and the coffee was served 5-10 minutes before the crepes were cooked, resulting in cold coffee! Preparation and organization need improvement!

What a shame, the cafeteria was well-regarded when it belonged to Cora. Pizzas, homemade crepes—none of that anymore. Only one dish besides grilled meats, and when you order them, you get half a steak, they're so thin... (but hey, it's something!) We asked for a side salad, but there wasn't any, or it was an extra charge. (They used to have it, and fresh!) The tiramisu is bad. I don't recommend it. Similarly, it's not very professional or hygienic to pick up fries with your hands. I won't name which waitress. We were regulars, more or less, but we won't be back.

The andouillette sausage was watery, the whipped cream on the desserts was dry, the spring rolls were disgusting, and the steamed vegetables were mushy and tasteless. The entire restaurant was dirty and run-down. We paid €40 for just two courses! We didn't eat anything and we left our trays. Avoid this place at all costs! Unless you want to get food poisoning.

The person preparing the hot dishes wasn't very welcoming; you got the impression you were bothering them. They couldn't even cook a sausage properly. The food was awful, the desserts were vomit-inducing and completely dry. And the fruit and whipped cream on the sundaes? 😨😨😨 Even the steamed vegetables were inedible. I spent €40 on two set menus; I wanted to treat my granddaughter. We didn't eat a thing; everything was inedible and dirty. Avoid this place at all costs.

I just left the cafeteria where I ate a pizza that was absolutely terrible. Furthermore, the hygiene and cleanliness of the dining area, and indeed the entire cafeteria, is a disgrace. It's truly disgusting, and I don't understand why, as someone who works in the food industry, the health inspectors haven't visited this place. Given its condition, it should have been closed a long time ago. I just hope I don't get sick afterward.
