On holiday amidst our religious devotions, we took a break for a delicious meal. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Excellent meal in a beautiful dining room.

Friends gave us a gift certificate to dine at the Auberge de La Baraque, ideally located at the foot of the Puy-de-Dôme. Needless to say, we weren't disappointed. Every dish, from appetizer to dessert, was beautifully presented and delicious, served in a magnificent dining room with attentive staff throughout. We had the pleasure of chatting with the sommelier, who was incredibly knowledgeable about wines, and we even participated in a blind tasting. Kudos to the entire team, both front and back of house, who take pleasure in sharing their love of French cuisine with such kindness and a smile. A young waiter, who had just arrived for the summer, proved to be very professional, and it was truly wonderful to share these moments together over refined dishes presented on beautiful plates. So, if you're ever in the area, be sure to make a note of this must-visit restaurant, so close to the Puy-de-Dôme. Last night, we absolutely rocked the house! A huge thank you to the whole team for giving us such a wonderful evening.

Superb place, always satisfied, never disappointed!!

Overall, a wonderful experience. The dishes and desserts were excellent, as were the wines. The food and wine pairing was perfectly executed. We received a very warm welcome, and the staff provided attentive service throughout the evening. Finally, coffee and petits fours on the terrace were a delightful touch, a lovely way to end the meal. We highly recommend this restaurant.

I've been passing by this restaurant almost every month for at least 20 years. I've heard nothing but good things about it for just as long. Luckily, I had the chance to have lunch there today. What a pleasure to see such a friendly team, from the reception to the service. The food is excellent, and the setting is very pleasant and well-maintained. I'm sure you'll see me again! A very good dinner; the dishes were excellent.

I highly recommend the pan-seared foie gras and the Mézenc beef, both breathtaking. This restaurant never disappoints. A remarkable ability to reinvent itself and educate our palates with effortless skill. Bravo!

What an incredible discovery this restaurant was! The culinary quality was truly exceptional. Not a single dish was mediocre; all were exquisitely refined. The icing on the cake was the bill: €60 per person for a starter, main course, dessert, wine, and savory amuse-bouches followed by sweet ones at the end. More than just a recommendation, it's a must-visit for anyone visiting or passing through the Puy de Dôme area.

Booking this inn was a stroke of genius when we were passing through the area. We weren't disappointed. The welcome was charming, the dining room beautiful, the service impeccable, and what can I say about the five-star cuisine in every way? Congratulations to the chef! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
