Visited in June 2026. Order at the kiosks, and as soon as you choose your table, your pager goes off. The food was very tasty (I highly recommend the aligot-sausage, the ice cream, and the blueberry tart). No regrets. For more details, just read the replies below to the 1-star reviews. The staff was friendly and smiling. I'm satisfied and recommend this restaurant.

What a shame they got rid of the self-service area and replaced it with kiosks like at McDonald's! The setting is nice, though, and the staff are friendly too... Personally, I prefer human interaction to machines...

We came as a group and had a reservation, and were very disappointed by the quality and quantity. Very poor value for money. The starter was acceptable—a lentil salad—but the main course consisted of four small new potatoes crammed around boiled turkey and a watery sauce. The blueberry tartlet, while perhaps homemade, was frozen.

The staff were welcoming, but it's more like a canteen or cafeteria than a restaurant. Orders are only placed at kiosks, and you have to leave your phone number to receive a text message when your hot food is ready for pickup (because yes, there's no table service). Everyone has to get their own glass or water carafe, and trays must be cleared away after the meal. As for the food, the dishes are "local" but industrially prepared: the Auvergne salad is made with processed ingredients. Bread is extra (€0.80 per slice, even with a salad or cheese plate). The Saint-Nectaire burger (an additional €4 on a set menu) was barely warm. The apple and banana were several days old. The artisanal ice cream from a local producer was good. The staff are friendly but not responsible for management's decisions. Prices are high for the poor quality of the food.

The set menu was served at the table and was adequate, nothing special. Service was fairly quick for our group of 46 people.

In a lovely room, with a self-service style setup, it's very convenient for eating before or after your visit. I tried aligot and was a little disappointed; I didn't really taste the cheese, it was more like a simple purée. It was okay, but nothing special. But since I'm not familiar with it... In any case, it's great to have specialties on the menu.

Good local products. You can eat delicious Auvergne cuisine from appetizer to dessert. A warm welcome. But be aware from the start that it's a cafeteria-style restaurant. Convenient before or after your visit.
